Even as a kid, Josh was known to be a constant creator and builder. Whether it be tree forts or model airplanes, he was always hands on and learning. Through the building of several family homes early in his life, he learned many skills and trades, but it is woodworking that he truly grew to love. After high school, Josh joined the Navy and served as a nuclear power machinist mate. At the end of his service, went on to work his way up through the corporate ladder, initially in a maintenance role and eventually into management and sales.

Custom Woodwork Lemont, LLC was born out of the realization that Josh’s true passion in life was not the corporate world, but being hands on and building solutions for people. It’s a labor of love, and one he is excited to share with you.

Josh and his wife Jen live in Lemont, IL raising two wildly rambunctious little boys. If he isn’t in his workshop or wrangling little boys, you might find him on the golf course or at a concert venue.
